Maintaining10K

Maintaining10K

Maintaining10K is a six‑week training program designed for graduates of the SportMedBC RunWalk program—or for runners and walkers who have already achieved the 10K distance like the Big Easter Run and want to maintain their fitness, consistency, and confidence. After completing 13 weeks of RunWalk or building up to 10K on your own, you may be wondering how to stay motivated and keep your momentum going. Maintaining10K bridges that gap with weekly structure, group accountability, and expert guidance to help you continue feeling strong and supported in your training.

Maintaining10K provides a seamless transition after RunWalk, allowing you to stay active with planned weekly sessions and balanced workouts that keep your 10K fitness level steady while still offering opportunities to strengthen endurance and improve overall conditioning. This is not a beginner program—it is for participants who have already reached the 10K distance and want to maintain their progress in a fun, social, and encouraging environment.

Whether you run, walk, or prefer a combination of both, Maintaining10K allows you to train with the community you’ve built, stay connected with familiar faces, and continue making fitness part of your weekly routine. If your goal is simply to keep moving, maintain your fitness, or improve performance after reaching 10K, Maintaining10K helps you stay consistent and confident in your abilities.
