Jessica is a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. She comes from a strong background in Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, Movement Assessment and Corrective Exercise Prescription. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Athletic & Exercise Therapy from Camosun College Centre for Sport & Exercise Education. Jessica uses her skill set to help her patients achieve optimal mobility and stability patterns of movement.
With a passion for restoring functional movement in patients with limitations, Jessica has trained in numerous techniques, some of which include: Soft Tissue Release, Graston Technique®, Kinesio® Taping, Functional Movement Systems™, Selective Functional Movement Assessment™ and Certified TPI® Medical Professional.
Jessica has worked out of Personal Best Exercise Therapy Clinic for the past four years and is entering her 4th year as head therapist for Langara College Athletics Department and is a Sessional Instructor for the Kinesiology Department at the College. She has recently started to further her medical professional studies by entering the program of Osteopathic Manual Practices offered by the College d'Etudes Osteopathiques in Montreal.
