Dr. Erin Woitzik has always been drawn to the health and fitness industry, with a special passion for sports and an interest in sports related injuries. Dr. Woitzik graduated with clinical honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after completing an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Brock University. After graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Woitzik went on to pursue a sports sciences specialty in the post-graduate residency program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Woitzik is now a Sports Specialist Chiropractor belonging to the Royal Canadian College of Sports Sciences, and is currently the only female Sports Specialist Chiropractor in British Columbia. Dr. Woitzik has taught at the undergraduate level at CMCC and maintains an active role in the research community.
Dr. Woitzik has always had a passion for the development of local athletes. She has worked as a team doctor for Junior A hockey, provincial soccer clubs, provincial taekwando competitions, provincial gymnastic competitions, and National volleyball events. Dr. Woitzik has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of recreational, inspiring, and professional athletes and she is excited to offer her services in the Okanagan community.
