Mahsa Ahmadi

Fascinated by the benefits of natural health Mahsa discovered her true passion: an alternative practice known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She completed a five-year TCM doctorate diploma program in Vancouver and became a registered acupuncturist in 2008 with the CTCMA, beginning her practice as an acupuncturist.
 
She subsequently completed extensive training and certification in the advanced program of Sports Medicine Acupuncture (SMA) in Boston in 2013, becoming Vancouver's first Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncturist. This qualifies her as an acupuncturist that incorporates orthopedic assessment, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries due to work and sports injuries, postural and muscle imbalances, and more.
 
She has extensive experience in clinical practice for the treatment and management of various types of pain and injuries, stress, weight and appetite control, sleeping problems and other acute and chronic conditions, and even post-surgical rehabilitation.
 
While her recent studies have been geared toward the treatment of professional athletes, ultimately her practice is dedicated to improving the lives of all her patients. she takes great pride in listening to her patients’ concerns and providing them with the support necessary to help them achieve their goals.
 
Mahsa has been a member of the SportMedBC Board of Directors since 2019.
