Dr. Bhalla is a clinical neuropsychologist. He completed his education in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, followed by a one-year clinical residency at Brown University, and two postdoctoral fellowships at Brown University and the University of Pittsburgh. He serves as a neuropsychology consultant for the National Hockey League (Vancouver Canucks), the American Hockey League (Abbotsford Canucks) and for Major League Soccer (Vancouver Whitecaps and MLS Next Pro), for whom he provides sports-related concussion assessment. Dr. Bhalla has been working at Vancouver Coastal Health since 2008. He serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC and as an Associate Member in the Department of Family Practice at UBC. Dr. Bhalla’s clinical interests include the neuropsychological assessment of traumatic brain injury, including sports-related concussion.
