InTraining: RunWalk10k

2022 Fall Virtual RunWalk, InTraining Program registration NOW OPEN!

2023 In-Person Spring Clinic Registration will open 1st week of November.. Stay tuned!

We’re so excited for SportMedBC’s Fall RunWalk InTraining program as it will be virtual with some in-person gatherings throughout the 13-week program.

At SportMedBC, we know the importance of accountability and having the option to meet likeminded people is important. A place to meet others with similar goals, people to make the runs a bit easier and to help motivate you on the good and the bad days, we are stronger together! There are a few locations in which groups are still able to gather should you wish for extra support for your virtual training journey.  Please note there will not be a specific designated In-person Clinic Mentor in place at these weekly locations and you should be prepared to time your own runs and plan your own routes.

There will however be one Virtual Clinic Mentor that is assigned to the fall program. This virtual mentor will host a group run at one of the optional clinic locations every 3 weeks. This will help keep the community feel and accountability behind the programs that we know you want. This shall also serve as an opportunity to check in with participants, mentors, and leaders on how their training is going, get feedback and aid anyone needing additional information.

The Online InTraining Program gives you the flexibility of individual training, while still providing the added benefits of joining a community clinic!

SportMedBC's 13-week Online RunWalk program offers the usual training programs designed to suit to help you achieve your goals: NordicWalk, Walk10K, LearnToRun, Run10K and Run10KStronger

Program runs from September 10th to December 9th

Your registration fee includes:

Digital copies of all SportMedBC 13-week RunWalk training programs

Access to Virtual Mentor with weekly coaching advice, nutrition tips, and additional training resources sent straight to your inbox.

Free Halfway 5KM Run

Free Optional Group Runs once every 3 weeks at a different location across the lower mainland. This is a great opportunity to experience different locations, meet other InTraining runners, and ask the virtual mentor any questions in person.
