Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 400 F
  • Combine all dry ingredients in a medium size bowl
  • In a smaller bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients
  • Add the wet mix to the dry mix and fold them together just until moistened
  • Pour batter into greased loaf pan and bake for 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean

  • 1 cup cornmeal, yellow, whole grain
  • 1/2 cup flour, white, unbleached
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 5 tbsp vegetable oil
