Profile
I help people to prevent injuries, recover faster, and perform like a champion. My training and clinical experience spans every region of the body, including specific injuries and medical conditions. I also make use of the most cutting edge research and treatment techniques. Typically this includes some hands-on treatment, education, home exercise and sometimes specialized taping techniques or electrotherapeutic modalities. When it’s needed I also help my clients to connect with other disciplines such as nutrition, psychology or sport-specific conditioning.
I am a graduate of the University of Alberta’s Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program. The program emphasises evidence-based treatments and features renowned instructors.
I continue to develop my clinical and on-site skills through advanced credentials in manual therapy and sport. Manual therapy simply means “hands-on.”
Injury prevention and performance in sport are key areas of interest and research. As part of my Masters, I completed a systematic review on ankle sprain prevention.
