Tracey Mager is a Registered Dietitian who completed her dietetics training at the University of British Columbia and her Dietetic Internship at Vancouver General Hospital.
Tracey has had over 10 years experience as a sport nutritionist with previous clients including include Triathlon BC, Rugby BC, Power Bar and the Pacific Spirit Triathlon Club. Tracey consults in all areas of sport including triathlon, cycling, running, Alpine and Nordic skiing, swimming and gymnastics.
As a Dietitian Tracey has worked in numerous areas outside of sport including as a clinical dietitan at Burnaby Hospital, and in the areas of acute care medicine, renal, diabetes, GI ,palliative care and healthy heart.
Tracey’s entire life and education has been focused on health, wellness and sport. Prior to becoming a Registered Dietitian Tracey completed her BA in Psychology at McMaster University, M.Sc. in Kinesiolgy, and doctoral training in Sport Psychology at Simon Fraser Unversity. Tracey has published numerous studies in the area of Expertise in Sport focusing on Olympic Swimmers,Traithletes,and Masters Athletes. Tracey also has worked as Sport Psychology consultant and coach in numerous sports.
Some of the highlights during my time as a lifelong athlete include Ironman Hawaii, Ironman Canada (twice), Duathlon National Team member, 7th place finish at Kneeknacker, Ontario gymanstics champion and being one of the founders of the Pacific Spirit Triathlon Club.
Tracey’s approach to sport and sport nutrition is holistic. It encompasses all aspects of the athletes life, nutrition,sport and psychology. As an athlete, coach, dietitian and consultant Tracey is able to connect with her clients on all levels.
