Profile
Dr. Anthony McDougall graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Calgary, where he played varsity basketball for the Calgary Dinos. In 1997 he graduated with a Clinical Excellence Award from Palmer West Chiropractic College. He has since practiced Sports Chiropractic in Italy, obtaining an International Chiropractic Sports Sciences Diploma and brought the Functional Movement Systems courses to that country, becoming certified in both the Functional Movement Screen® (FMS) as well as the Selective Functional Movement Assessment® (SFMA). He also participated in the Italian inaugural Active Release Techniques® (ART) course in Rome. A highlight of Dr. McDougall’s professional experiences was to be the official chiropractor of the Italian National Rowing Team at the London Olympics in 2012.
Dr. McDougall was born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary, therefore cheers for neither the Flames nor the Oilers. His favourite sport is basketball but is now enjoying cycling as well as watching his kids play soccer.
