Teresa is a recent Kinesiology graduate from the University of Victoria. Upon completing her degree, she obtained several accolades including Dean’s List and finishing with a GPA within the top 10% of her class. She was also a student-athlete, playing CIS soccer for the University of Victoria Vikes Women’s Soccer Team. Prior to transferring to UVIC, she also attended university in the US, where she played NCAA Div I soccer.
Teresa’s experience as an elite athlete helped to foster her passion for human movement. In her studies, she had particular interest in functional anatomy, rehabilitation, nutrition, and traumatic brain injury. She also has experience rehabilitating individuals with disabilities, and training elite-level para-athletes.
In her spare time, Teresa remains active – running, weightlifting, and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
