Over the past 20 years, Stuart Anderson has gained an extensive array of clinical expertise helping his clients to maximize their performance potential. He is internationally-qualified as a Physiotherapist, Acupuncturist, and Mental Performance Consultant which enables him to provide a unique mind-body therapeutic benefit and experience for his clients. Stuart Anderson has taken many post-graduate courses in Europe and Canada in both Medical Acupuncture and Functional Dry Needling. This has resulted into a highly effective treatment strategy, especially when combined with physiotherapy and osteopathic techniques that Mr. Anderson often includes into his treatment plans. Further, Stuart Anderson has a Masters of Science degree in Performance Psychology, and offers progressive performance coaching based on 15+ years of coaching top performers and professionals. He has developed a variety of tools such as Mastery Scripting©, Goal-mapping©, Stress & Energy Management, Visualization Tools, Creative Leadership and High-Performance Team Development. Sessions in clinic can be combined with Neuro-feedback evaluations to moniter brainwave activity. Mr. Anderson recently designed the curriculum in performance psychology for the degree program offered by the Royal Ballet in London, U.K..
Stuart has worked as Consultant and staff for Cirque Du Soleil (6 different shows and Headquarters), The Royal Ballet (London UK), Kings of Leon, Summer and Winter Olympic and National Team Athletes (Canada, UK, Sweden), London Symphony Orchestra, BBC, Music BC, Ballet BC, British Rally, Peak Performance Project (102.7 Peak FM), Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, Carlos Acosta’s Tocororo, Stuttgart Ballet (Germany), Rambert Dance Co. (London), Wayne McGregor’s Random Dance Co. (London), London West End musicals: Billy Elliot, Lion King, Chicago, and The Producers.
For 5 years, Stuart was the Physiotherapist and lecturer in health & body conditioning at the Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet School. He continues to work with professional and pre-professional dancers (such as Arts Umbrella, Goh Ballet Academy, Richmond Academy of Dance, Pro-Arte, etc..), and he was the 2015 President of Healthy Dancer Canada. Stuart also works regularly with athletes of many disciplines (tennis, track and field, skiers, cyclists, etc.) and was Physiotherapist in Athletics at the 2004 Olympic Games (Athens) and the 2002 Commonwealth Games (Manchester). He is a Member of Sport Physiotherapy Canada, and is a published contributing author to sports injuries textbooks for medical professionals and continues to write for professional and trade journals.
