Profile
One of the pioneers in the Canadian pedorthic community, Stephen founded Paris Orthotics Ltd. in 1986 and earned his C Ped (C) designation in 1991, the year it first became available.
Stephen’s grandfather, father and uncle, themselves pioneers in the Canadian podiatry profession, were early influences from whom he gained breadth and depth of knowledge, including traditional custom orthopaedic shoe making.
Stephen assesses and treats the most biomechanically challenging clients. When problem solving, he brings intuition and a holistic perspective to bear and is the lead go to person for his colleagues at Paris Orthotics and many health care professionals whose patients present long standing, intractable problems.
Stephen practices at the company’s
W.4th Ave. location and at its satellite office in Surrey.
Away from his clinical work, Stephen is an accomplished skipper and jack-of-all-trades who has given new life to old boats and houses, clocks and furniture, trees and gardens. His family life revolves around his wife, their three grown children and four grandchildren
