As a former engineer, Rowena is fascinated by how ancient healing linked to modern science-Acupuncture points are located near major nerve bundles suggesting a connection between the flow of Qi and nerve signal transmission.

She enjoys incorporating philosophies of TCM and acupuncture with advanced and modern techniques.
Rowena has a deeper understanding of human anatomy and is very passionate about learning and helping people, this is why Rowena has continued to further her education. Rowena has continued to further her education and has taken multiple sports medicine acupuncture courses including an extensive cadaver dissection. She graduated from Matt Callison’s prestigious Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program in San Diego.

Through her gentle needling technique and individualized care, Rowena strives to empower her patients to find healing on many different levels of their life- physical, mental and emotional.
