Ramsey Ezzat brings exceptional experience and a broad range of skills to our clinic, as well as long experience as an athlete, all of which gives him insight into the rehabilitation process from the perspectives of both the therapist and the patient. Ramsey has several qualifications including his Acupuncture certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. A successful athlete, Ramsey was an Academic All-Canadian and Male Rookie of the Year in swimming at Queens University. More recently, he won the sprint distance at the 2010 Subaru Vancouver International Triathlon and placed in the top 100 at the 2011 Vancouver Sun Run. Ramsey uses his practical experience as both an athlete and physiotherapist to understand how injuries occur in real time, as well as how to prevent and treat them. Recognizing his proficiency as a practitioner led the University of British Columbia to appoint him as a teaching assistant in the School of Rehabilitation Science, where he helps develop the next generation of physical therapists. His dedication to his profession also earned Ramsey the position of lead physiotherapist at the Twist High Performance Summer Hockey Camps. Ramsey was awarded the Talmage E. Hunt Gold Medal in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan as the program’s most distinguished graduating student. He also earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Life Sciences at Queen's University.
