Profile
Rachelle attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy from Camosun College in 2014. After sustaining a knee injury and completing vigorous rehabilitation to get back on the ski hill, Rachelle found her passion for active rehabilitation. As well as working at The Athlete Centre, Rachelle teaches rehab and injury prevention to the student athletes with the Reynolds Secondary Centre for Soccer Excellence and the Esquimalt High Rugby Academy. Additionally, Rachelle regularly travels with the Canadian Women’s National Field Hockey team, to help keep them in tip top shape when they tour internationally. “Strengthen and lengthen” Rachelle believes in mobility coupled with strength as the foundation of living, working and playing, pain-free. She develops rehabilitation plans based on current scientific and clinical practice standards. When she is not helping keep people active, you may find her on the mountain, hiking, skiing or on the softball field. |
