Her interests are to investigate health promotion strategies and programs which increase physical activity levels of the population. She is also interested in the role of the exercise professional in promoting and changing behaviours that lead to a more active population in an effort to prevent and manage chronic diseases. She has over 20 years of experience in the health, fitness and rehabilitation industry. Highlights have included: teaching at McMaster University, University of Alberta, UVIC and Camosun College; BC Provincial Manager of Physical Activity and Workplace Wellness; Manager of Millard Health Centre; and Associate Dean at Camosun College.
