Physiotherapist Lisa Price graduated from the University of Alberta in 1988, with a sub-specialty in sports medicine. She has extensive training in orthopedic manipulative therapy, and is a Fellow of the Canadian and American Academies of Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapists. She also has her Sport Physiotherapy Certificate, with over 20 years of experience in the orthopedic and sports medicine fields (having treated professional, elite, and recreational athletes alike).
She has formulated and taught many postgraduate physical therapy courses in Orthopedic assessment and treatment techniques across North America. Her interests lie in lower quadrant alignment and orthotic prescription, cranial-facial pain, and sports injury rehabilitation.
Lisa was an elite athlete in many sports (volleyball, basketball, etc.), and is currently learning how to golf (and enjoying it immensely)! Her other interests include coaching her childrens’ sports teams, reading, hiking, cooking, and traveling (having just returned from a 5 month sabbatical in Australia). Lisa is currently working with the SFU Lacrosse team.
