Profile
I am currently a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of British Columbia. I have more than 10 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist and kinesiologist. I treat a wide range of injuries, but have an expertise in managing knee/ACL injuries. I have previously worked with various athletes including the University of Alberta Varsity athletes, Alberta Ballet, men and women's rugby teams and youth hockey and soccer teams.
My current research focuses on the impact of social support on recovery following a traumatic knee injury (e.g., ACL injury) but am involved in various research projects including the Stop OsteoARthritis research project. This is a virtual online PT program aimed to reduce the risk of developing osteoarthritis in youth who have had a knee injury.
