Kosta obtained his BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London after completing his BSc of Human Kinetics from the University of Fraser Valley. Furthermore, he has completed a MSc in Sports Medicine Exercise & Health from the University College of London.
Before starting his career as a physiotherapist, Kosta worked as an athletic trainer for the UFV mens soccer team. After qualifying as a physiotherapist Kosta gained a lot of his experience working in the UK in some of London’s top hospitals. He then returned home to Vancouver to specialize in concussion/vestibular rehabilitation where he worked with BC alpine ski and Olympic snowboarders. After a 2-year stint in concussion rehabilitation Kosta returned to the UK to work in elite sport and persue some research in concussion. After completing his Sport Med Masters, Kosta worked as a physiotherapist for Chelsea FC Academy while closely collaborating with Team GB diving. He continues to be involved in concussion research. Recently, he presented his preliminary results at the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine annual fall (2018) conference.
Kosta Joined Treloar in 2019 where he brings his advanced clinical skills in sports medicine, concussion and vestibular management. He is a strong believer in exercise-based treatments and prevention strategies.
Outside the office: Kosta enjoys golfing, coffee and getting lost with his camera.
