Kim is a Certified Athletic Therapist, a graduate from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science and a graduate of Sheridan College’s Sports Injury Management Program with a Diploma in Sports Injury Management. She was a member of the University of Victoria Women’s Basketball program winning two National Championships in 1998 & 2000 respectively.
She is currently the Director of Ozmosis Wellness Inc., the Lead Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby team and Head Athletic Therapist at St. Michaels University School. She is also a Sport Safety Instructor for SportMedBC and an Advanced Emergency Care Instructor for Canadian Red Cross.
She has worked with many sport organizations including Rugby Canada, Rowing Canada, the University of Victoria, Victoria Salmon Kings Professional Hockey Club, Victoria Highlanders FC, Victoria Rebels Football, Victoria Junior Shamrocks Lacrosse as well as many recreational athletes alike!
Highlights of her career include London 2012 Paralympic Silver Medalists Canadian Wheelchair Rugby, Host Medical Team at the Richmond Oval of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, World Wheelchair Rugby Championships Richmond 2010, World Rowing Championships Lake Karapiro New Zealand 2010 and Rugby World Cup France 2007.
Kim is a proud mommy of a 7 month old baby boy named Ryland!
