Inaccurate, inconsistent or inefficient visual information will impair your athletic performance! Dr. Kevin Loopeker received his Doctorate Degree (with Distinction) from the Pacific University College of Optometry (Forest Grove, Oregon). Here he spent four years working as the Sports Vision Research Assistant to Dr. Alan Reichow, Director of Sports Vision at Pacific University and Chief Vision Consultant for Nike. During his post-doctoral training at the State University of New York College of Optometry, Dr. Loopeker was a Clinical Assistant Instructor at SUNY and earned a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Competency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. Here he trained under Dr. Arnold Sherman, former Chief of Vision Training Clinic and the Director of Vision Enhancement Training Programs for the US Olympic Committee Elite Athlete Program. Dr. Loopeker is currently providing vision services to members of the Canadian and BC Alpine Ski Teams. He is also working towards Fellowship and Board Certification through the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Loopeker has developed a keen interest in the relationship between vision and athletic performance. He has studied under some of the world's best Sports Vision experts and he offers a very unique performance-based approach to vision care for athletes of all ages and levels.
