I am the owner of West Coast Kinesiology Ltd. which began operations in 1992 in the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre. I received my B.Sc. in Kinesiology from SFU in 1985, PFLC certification in 2001 and Certified Exercise Physiology certification in 2007.
I have over 22 years of experience in the health, fitness and rehabilitation industry. I am a member of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists, and a Functional Capacity Evaluator. Our staff provide assessment and treatment for motor vehicle injuries, sports injuries and many other chronic musculo-skeletal and metabolic conditions.
We provide assessment and conditioning for elite athletes as well from local, provincial, national and Olympic levels. I am a speaker for public and private groups on cardiovascular disease and exercise, injury prevention in the workplace and athletic training issues.
I also write a column in the local newspaper on the latest health and fitness issues.
