Profile
I am a sports medicine physician new to the Victoria-area and I have recently been appointed Chief Medical Officer of Rugby Canada. My office is based at the rugby Canada National Training Centre in Langford.
My undergraduate training was completed in South Africa, whereafter I obtained my Family Medicine certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and my Sport Medicine Diploma from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine. Prior to relocating here, I was working in the Cariboo-region doing Family, Emergency and Sports Medicine. I am very excited for this opportunity to be involved in Sports Medicine on the Island and to contribute to keep our community active and moving.
