Jessica is a Registered Dietitian (RD) her extensive experience includes clinical work for Fraser Health’s nutritional services, as well as sport nutrition expertise obtained while consulting for recreational athletes and sports teams. By using her clinical skill set and passion for food and sport, Jessica is able to assess each client’s unique needs and provide a tailored dietary plan to help fuel performance, enabling the individual to overcome the barriers themselves and their health goals. Jessica strives to empower her clients by helping them acknowledge existing strengths while encouraging realistic and maintainable behaviour changes that enhance their active lifestyle. Jessica’s goal is to not only reinforce nutrition’s role in optimizing the body for performance, but to also help her clients rediscover their enjoyment for food.
Jessica graduated from St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition (Honours). Post-graduation, she completed her dietetic internship through StFX at various community and health facilities across the Maritimes. She also completed the International Olympic Committee’s Diploma in Sports Nutrition.. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending her time being active through strength training, cycling, exploring local BC hikes, and getting creative in the kitchen to share her love of cooking and baking with family and friends.
