Isabel is a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Physiotherapist with a Certificate in Sport Physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters in Science where her research targetted muscle trauma treatment outcomes. Isabel has been in a variety of private practices on Vancouver Island. She has spent a large portion of her careen in competitive and international sport. Isabel as held a variety of positions with Rugby Canada including that of the Lead Therapist. Isabel is now one of the 2 Medical Education Managers for World Rugby providing education, delivering protocols and creating best practice world wide. She has had many opportunities to work on the international scene more specifically at the 1999 – 2011 Pan-Am Games and the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics as part of the Canadian Olympic Association's health team as well as the Chief Therapist for the Canadian Athletes to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India. Isabel is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association for which she is the past president. Isabel enjoys working with athletes of all caliber including youth hockey, baseball, golf and climbing.
