Dr. Glenn Cashman is the team chiropractor for the Vancouver Canucks and he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences, Canada's specialty college in sports chiropractic. He treats professional and recreational athletes from a broad array of sports.
He has a master's degree in rehab science from UBC Medicine where he performed research focusing on hip conditions. He lectures at numerous chiropractic conferences. He teaches classes for runners, tri-athletes and personal trainers regarding performance and repetitive strain injury and teaches a BCRPA accredited course on prevention and management of tendon injuries.
Dr. Cashman runs a family practice utilizing a functional, biomechanical approach to rehabilitation and performance of all the body`s joints, muscle, fascia and their associated nerves.
This approach draws on his expertise in musculoskeletal assessment, functional movement assessment, spinal and extremity manipulation, soft tissue therapy, strength and conditioning and flexibility. He also utilizes specialized soft-tissue techniques such as Active Release Technique© and Graston Technique®.
