Profile
I am a graduate of University of Western Ontario cum laude 1993. I did my manipulation diploma 1999 (Fellow of the Canadian Acamademy of Manual Therapy or FCAMT) and sports certification 2007.
I have worked in private practise orthopedic physiotherapy for 17 years, with focus on treating various sporting injuries. I was a competitive fast ball player for many years. I travelled internationally with the national women’s soccer program 1999-2002, and worked at numerous other high level sporting events, such as Figure Skating World’s in Vancouver, Canada Cup Fastball in Surrey and Short Track Speed Skating with the 2010 Olympics.
I am a teacher with the orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiothearpy Association, teaching advanced orthopedics and manual therapy. I have also worked as a mentor to youger therapists to help enhance various techniques and clinical reasoning.
I am an avid mountain biker and road cyclist. I am currently training for the Grand Fondo road bike race from Vancouver to Whistler in Sept 2010.
