Ashley has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2006, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science-Kinesiology degree from Simon Fraser University and obtaining her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal College.
Ashley was an Athletic Therapist for seven years at Simon Fraser University, where she worked with all the university varsity teams including; basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer, wrestling and football. She has also been involved with many community and provincial teams including; BC Soccer Provincial teams, BC High school Football, New Westminster Intermediate A Lacrosse, was the Head Therapist for Women’s Whitecaps and was a member of the 2010 Paralympic Games host medical team for Sledge Hockey.
Currently she is a member of the Board of Directors for SportMedBC, the BC Director for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and is currently serving as treasurer for the Athletic Therapists Association of British Columbia for the past 4 years.
