Dr. Ali Masoumi received his Bachelors of Biology while studying at Simon Fraser University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Interested in the field of sports medicine, he continued his studies and obtained a Masters degree in Sports Medicine with a focus in Exercise and Rehabilitation. Fulfilling his goal of becoming a sports specialist, he is now a resident in the 4 years fellowship program at the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences.
Dr. Masoumi is an advocate of evidence based practice and is a Clinician-Member of the British Columbia Chiropractic Practice-Based Research Network and Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Club at the University of British Columbia.
He is an internationally certified chiropractic sports practitioner and a proud member of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic where sports chiropractors treat professional athletes in the Olympics, World Games and other international sporting events.
Dr. Masoumi treats many musculoskeletal injuries and conditions through manual therapy, Active Release Technique (ART), exercise and rehabilitation.
