Profile
Alfred has been practicing as a Kinesiologist since 1999. He founded Lifemoves in 2007, a proudly Canadian kinesiology -led rehabilitation and performance company. It rebranded in March 2025 as Lifemoves Human Performance in Burnaby, BC. He is also neurodivergent.
Lifemoves Human Performance is ideal for anyone who has sensory or processing differences like ADHD, autism, or AuADHD. It is a quiet, sensory-friendly, and scent-free training and rehab studio for people who want somewhere calm.
He specializes in helping people regain mobility, relearning efficient movement patterns with this new capacity, and then loading to build resilience. Clients value his problem-solving skills, his humour and his compassionate care.
Alfred has been using Fascia Stretch Therapy since 2007 to help athletes aged 12 to 75+ reduce pain, return to their sports after an injury, and recover from rigorous training schedules. In the fall of 2025, he earned Stretch to Win’s Level 3 Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) certificate. FST is an osteopathic and PNF modality that quickly reduces pain and improves mobility.
High-performance athletes and active individuals seek FST from Alfred because they get results. They are confident that his skills will enable a quicker return to sport after an injury and that he will help them stay there!
The sports his clients participate in or compete in include curling, trail running, cycling, rugby, ski cross, jiu-jitsu, figure skating, golf, and ice hockey. Some former Canadian National Team athletes continue to book FST treatments to keep them moving freely as they age after retiring from the sports.
He combines traditional weight training techniques with Clinical Pilates and Fascia Stretch Therapy. He is looking forward to connecting with you. Use the website link to learn more about him or his studio’s services.
