Alex began his journey in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist in 2008. He has since graduated with a BSc (Hons) in exercise and health in Cambridge, UK and a MSc in physiotherapy in Leeds, UK.
While working in the UK as a chartered physiotherapist, he practised in the National Health Service (NHS) and within a private practice at, The Sports Injury Clinic, UK, before relocating to Canada in 2017.
Alex enjoys treating patients with sports injuries. He has a special interest in running injuries, ACL rehabilitation, and return to play. Alex is an avid runner, competing in ultra-marathons. He uses his knowledge and expertise in running within his physiotherapy practice. He offers his patients running assessments with the aim of keeping his runners injury-free.
Alex is very passionate about the importance of early physiotherapy intervention as well as the value of injury prevention. He uses a variety of evidence based treatment modalities, primarily hands on and exercise prescription, that is individualized to each patient.
Alex also has an extensive personal training portfolio, training a diverse array of high profile cliental and professionals from a variety of ages and backgrounds, which he works with individuals on a one to one basis to achieve their health and fitness goals.
