As a Registered Dietitian and Sport Dietitian, the past five years have afforded me the opportunity to work with athletes in a variety of sports, all at various stages in the Podium Pathway. In my current role with the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific I work with multiple sports, including Triathlon Canada at both a National level as well as with the Rising Stars program.  I also work with Rugby Canada and their National Men's 7's program, Diving Plongeon Canada, as well as the Canadian Sport Institute's NewGen Rowing and Cycling programs.  With these sports, I work closely with the athletes, coaches and integrated support teams to provide cutting edge nutrition support to enhance performance and ensure the health of the athletes. Beyond my work with specific sports at the Canadian Sport Institute, I also manage the Podium Fuel program where may of are athletes are provided with sound, performance meals throughout the week, depending on their training programs.

I am a graduate from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. I also completed my Master's in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Sydney, Australia, completed my Dietetic Internship through the Southeaster Ontario Dietetic Internship Program, and finally completed the prestigious Diploma of Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee.  I am an active member of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia and Dietitians of Canada, where I act as a communications chair for their Sports Nutrition Network.

Outside of work I compete in many road and trail races and triathlons across the country and Internationally.  I also pursue my love of music by being involved with the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
