Jennifer Rogers, founder of Edge Nutrition, is a Registered Dietitian with a special interest in sports nutrition. She obtained her Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Nutrition from the University of Connecticut (UConn). During her studies at UConn she competed as a Division I track and field athlete in both the sprints and the jumps.
Since locating to Fort McMurray a year and a half ago she has worked with summer hockey camps, Alberta Sport Development Centre (ASDC), and personal trainers from the local recreation centers to provide education sessions on the basics of nutrition and sport supplements.
She is also trained to facilitate the Sports Medicine Council of Alberta’s intensive Sports Nutrition Level 1 course.
