Cheryl graduated from the University of Alberta with a Physical Education degree specializing in Sport Performance. She is a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
Training areas of special interest for Cheryl include functional movement training, postural alignment, core stabilization, flexibility and sport specific conditioning.
Cheryl's athletic background and sport conditioning experience provides her with a more in depth knowledge and interest in figure skating, dance, gymnastics, volleyball, hockey, and lacrosse.
Cheryl's personal training philosophy is fitness as a lifestyle. To promote this, Cheryl performs functional fitness assessments to educate her clients on postural alignment and core stability to build a strong base and implement functional movement exercises into their workouts to meet their fitness training goals.
