SportMedBC - Sport Safety Instructors

SportMedBC is expanding its province-wide network of Sport Safety course and workshop instructors. 

We are seeking experienced health care practitioners to teach SportMedBC’s Sport Safety Courses and Workshops to the BC Sport and Recreation Community, including;

  1. Sports First Aid Course
  2. Athletic Taping Course
  3. Concussion Management Workshop
  4. SportSmart Workshop
  5. Sport Nutrition Workshop

*SportMedBC also delivers specialized presentations at the request of sport groups.

SportMedBC is seeking candidates with the following professional designations;

  • CAT(C) – Certified Athletic Therapist
  • Certificate/Diploma holder in Sports Physiotherapy
  • CEP – Certified Exercise Physiologist
  • RD – Registered Dietician
  • CSCS – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

We are seeking practitioners who are passionate about sport safety and strive to ensure that others are equipped with the right information and attitude to keep all fields of play as safe as possible.

Instructors work on a paid per course contract. Instructor expenses during courses are covered by SportMedBC.
