As of September 2013 there will be no more body-checking in Canadian PeeWee hockey (under 13 age division). (April 15, 2013) The Vancouver Sun Run offers our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the explosions at today’s Boston Marathon. In light of this terrible incident, we'd like to reassure our 2013 Sun Run participants and the community at large that a solid emergency preparedness plan is in place for the run and we are working closely with the City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Police Department and the Vancouver Fire Department to do everything we can to secure the safety of everyone involved.
