SportMedBC Notice of Office Relocation

SportMedBC Notice of Office Relocation

SportMedBC is pleased to announce that we have secured a new commercial office space at the Pro Arté Centre in North Vancouver. With Fortius Sport & Health officially shutting its doors on December 31, 2020 and the City of Burnaby taking possession of the building, SportMedBC was forced to find a new home. We will be completing our move over the coming weeks with a tentative move in date set for February 1, 2021.

The Pro Arté Centre, which opened in 2003, specializes in programs for serious young dancers with pre-professional dance programs in classical ballet & jazz/contemporary, that encourage dedication and advance achievement in dance and performing arts.

Fortius Sport & Health opened in 2013 as an integrated athlete development centre. The facility includes a double-gymnasium, fitness centre and office space. In November 2020, Fortius announced that pandemic pressures on the business led to the decision to cease operations at the end of last year.

SportMedBC would like to extend our gratitude to the team at Fortius Sport & Health for providing a world class facility and a hub for like-minded organizations who believed in the Fortius vision and shared a passion for sport and health.

While we are grateful for the relationships built at Fortius Sport & Health over the past seven years, we look forward to forging new relationships with the team at Pro Arté and the other tenants who reside in the building beginning next month.

Our new office and mailing address is:

#3 1225 East Keith Road
North Vancouver, BC
V7J 1J3

Please send all future correspondence after February 1, 2021 to our new mailing address.

SportMedBC staff members will continue to work remotely until further notice. While we are discouraging in-person visitors for the time-being, if you do need to come to our office please call ahead and we will arrange to have someone there for you.
