Hi all - At this time in the program it's normal to have difficulty with staying motivated...
HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED HOW OFTEN WE ARE CAPABLE OF LETTING NEGATIVE IMAGES INTO OUR MIND? THIS CREATES CONFUSION BETWEEN OUR MIND AND OUR BODY.
IF WE LISTEN TO THAT LITTLE VOICE INSIDE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US WE CAN LITERALLY TALK OURSELVES OUT OF DOING SOMETHING THAT IS IMPORTANT FOR US. AN AFFIRMATION CAN HELP US CHANGE PATTERNS OF NEGATIVITY THAT CAN CREATE ROAD BLOCKS TO OUR SUCCESS.
SAY THE FOLLOWING LOUD AND PROUD!
“I AM OUT-OF-SHAPE!” “I DON’T WANT TO BE FIT!” “I CAN’T DO THIS PROGRAM ANYMORE!” (Isn’t it awful to read that, never mind actually saying those words out loud?)
NOW IN CONTRAST SAY THE FOLLOWING:
“I AM STRONG!”
“I AM VIBRANT!”
“I AM GETTING FITTER EVERY WEEK!”
“I WILL BE READY FOR THE VANCOUVER SUN RUN!”
See? The power of positive thinking is huge -
