InTraining 2020 Clinic Spotlight: New Balance Robson St
The InTraining Program has some exciting changes in store as we celebrate our 25th year preparing runners and walkers for the 2020 Vancouver Sun Run on April 19, 2020. As our new presenting sponsor for this year, New Balance Vancouver will be hosting InTraining Clinics at their Robson St, Langley and Richmond locations.
The New Balance Robson St run clinic takes place Thursdays at 6:15PM starting January 23rd and will be led by Meghan Burrows. Both the LearnToRun10K and Run10K Stronger programs will be offered.
Meghan is a Recreation Therapist and Performance Coach who believes in bringing out the inner athlete in everyone. Her credentials include a BSc, Recreation Therapist Certification and 8 years of coaching experience as a certified personal trainer. Her continuing education has been largely around endurance nutrition, strength training and pre and post natal fitness. Meghan works as a Health Care Project Manager and Coaches clients from Level10 Fitness on the North Shore. Starting with the Scotiabank half Marathon in 2017, Meghan has taken up endurance running and incorporates several 50km trail adventures and triathlons each summer to balance out shorter runs and strength training in the fall and winter. Her hobbies include eating, reading and skiiing and she looks forward to working with each individual participant for their health and wellness goals for 2020 The Sun Run Clinic.

About the InTraining Program
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced runner or walker, SportMedBC’s InTraining Program Presented by New Balance will help you reach your fitness & health goals in a safe and supportive environment! The 13-week program will gradually develop your strength and stamina so that you can train injury-free for the 2020 Vancouver Sun Run. Choose from one of five training programs (Walk10K, NordicWalk10K, LearntoRun10K, RunWalk10K, and Run10KStronger). Clinics will begin the week of January 18th - 24th, 2020 and continue for thirteen weeks leading up to The Vancouver Sun Run Presented by Ford on Sunday April 19th, 2020.
