As SportMedBC continues to promote awareness and leadership in sport medicine, sport science, sport training and health promotion, we want to ensure you are part of our upcoming Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6:30-9:00PM. The meeting will be held virtually using Zoom. While we are unable to hold an in-person event this year, we are excited to offer all members from across the province the ability to participate in the AGM. It is with honour and pride that we are able to announce that one of our very own Board of Directors, Dr. David Cox has been inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame as a Builder. Over the past twenty-five years he has served as a Sport Psychologist for many of Canada's provincial and national sports organizations as both the amateur and professional ranks. David will be joining the member ranks in June of 2022 with 2 other builder- coaches, one team, one pioneer, 5 athletes, one media Member and the winner of the prestigeous W.A.C. Bennet award. As of March 11, 2022:

    • Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises.
    • Reminder to the sport community to be respectful of people's differing comfort levels and that as we transition into this period, people may still choose to wear their mask.

As of April 8, 2022, proof of vaccine will no longer be required.

  • Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring proof of vaccination for entry.
