Led by a Certified Athletic Therapist, this course will introduce participants to common athletic taping techniques through a combination of lecture and practical components. Safety considerations and theory are covered, followed by taping techniques and relevant anatomy for injuries related to the foot, ankle, knee, hip, elbow, wrist, thumb and fingers. This course is an excellent baseline for any individual looking to assist athletes with injury prevention, management, and support during return-to-play following injury.
Participants are encouraged to wear athletic clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt.
