Diced Peaches deemed a “security threat” for Australian Paralympian’s flight to Beijing

 

Humourous story in Australia’s Canberra Times about first time Aussie Cycling Team Paralympian Michael Milton’s attempt to bring his favorite snack meal diced peaches on his 12 hour flight to Beijing.

Milton failed in his bid to get the peaches on board.

”They told him the liquid the peaches were in some form of sugar syrup is a security threat because you can make bombs out of it so they wouldn’t let him take them on the plane,” Lewer said.

”He wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry.”
