BC Sports Aid Program


Note: You must complete the SportMedBC SportsAid Program Profile Form and provide proof of a valid CPR Level C, college or university equivalent course completion (i.e. official or unofficial transcript), or completed SportMedBC's Sports First Aid and Athletic Taping course prior to completing payment. Photos and scans are acceptable. If you have not already done so, click here and email the completed form and proof of CPR-C/equivalent course to: safetyevents.coordinator@sportmedbc.com or fill out the form online here

SportMedBC is also affliated with a number of college and university programs in providing equivalency Sports Aid Certification to students who have completed designated sports medicine and injury prevention courses and have obtained a valid CPR-C certification.   

Once your completed profile form, copy of a valid CPR-C Certificate, proof of course completion (i.e. official or unofficial transcript, SportMedBC course and workshop letter of completion), and $30.00 fee have been received - your BC SportsAid Program application will be processed & your certificate will be mailed directly to you.

As of March 11, 2022:

  • Masks are no longer required.
    • Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises.
    • Reminder to the sport community to be respectful of people's differing comfort levels and that as we transition into this period, people may still choose to wear their mask.

As of April 8, 2022, proof of vaccine will no longer be required.

  • Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring proof of vaccination for entry.
