This eight-hour workshop covers many of the taping techniques used in a sport setting through a combination of lecture and practical sessions. The morning session is designed as an introduction to taping. Safety considerations relating to taping will be introduced. Preventive and supportive techniques for the ankle will also be covered. The taping techniques covered in the afternoon session include regional techniques for the ankle, foot, elbow, wrist, thumb and finger. Paul McIntyre

Paul graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998. He has gone on to specialize in orthopaedics completing a Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2000, a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2001 and a Certificate of Gunn IMS, Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS) in 2008. Paul McIntyre opened Broadmead Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Clinic in 2002.

Jamie Neill

Jamie Neill is a certified Athletic Therapist and First Responder, who was born and raised in Courtenay, BC where she played volleyball, swam competitively and skied. Jamie then moved to Victoria in 2014 and attended Camosun College to receive her Bachelors in Athletic and Exercise Therapy. She has worked with Glenlyon Norfolk Secondary School and Camosun College Athletics.
