Dr Mockler received her BSc degree (Math/Computer Science) from Dalhousie University. In 1983, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo where she was the recipient of the Award for Clinical Excellence. Dr Mockler has spent the past 27 years committed to maintaining the highest standard of clinical care and has teamed up with other doctors who are committed to the same vision.
Dr. Yelizarov completed his Medical Degree in Astrakhan Medical University, Russia in 1980. His interest in alternative medicine resulted in a diploma in Acupuncture in 1987. He has focused his practice on muscle and tendon strain injuries since 1994. His interest in the field resulted in the book 'Treatment for muscle strain injuries and related conditions' (Llumina Press, ISBN: 1-932303- 07-3) published in 2002.
Dr. Vetsch was originally raised and educated in Calgary, Alberta and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario in 1983. Immediately after graduation he moved to the Lower Mainland and practiced in both Maple Ridge and Richmond until 1988. At that time he took on the ownership of the City Center Eye Care Clinic, previously the practice of Dr Roy Scott; Richmond’s original optometry practice established in 1950. In 2001 he joined forces with Drs.
Casey has been with the Össur Canada team for 11 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 2004, and obtained her Pedorthic Certification in 2005. Starting as part of the clinical team, she has used her wealth of clinical knowledge and experience to expand her role into sales, training and product research and development.
As part of the integrated practitioner team at Fortius Sport & Health, Registered Massage Therapist Vincent Lam brings over eight years of RMT experience in sports massage. Vincent holds his Diploma in Massage Therapy from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Throughout his years of experience, Vincent has had the opportunity to work with many Organizations and Teams such as the Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS), BC Lions (CFL), Canadian National Men's Field Hockey Team, Vancouver Giant's Hockey Club (WHL) and the PGA of BC.
Krystie has obtained a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia (UBC). She is a distinguished academic having published articles in the North American Journal of Sports Physical Therapy and Respiratory Physiology & Neurobiology. She also gives presentations for organizations such as the Arthritis Society of BC.
