The 2018 Vancouver Sun Run was another overwhelming success with over 41,000 runners, walkers, and wheelchair division athletes completing the 10km race this past weekend. 2018 marked SportMedBC’s 23rd year working with the Vancouver Sun Run to deliver our 13-week InTraining program in communities across the province. Congratulations to the 300+ Aboriginal RunWalk participants who travelled from across the province (from as far away as Iskut!) to complete the 2018 Vancouver Sun Run! With 157 participants registered under the Aboriginal RunWalk open team, the ARW team was the second largest team in the Sun Run. It was so inspiring to see the red bandanas proudly sported amongst the sea of people!
