We all know that we should be getting in our quality exercise every day to improve health and fitness. But how much and to what intensity should it be to see health benefits?
A recent study out of Queens University compared three groups of sedentary adults at different levels of walking and found that while all groups exhibited health benefits from the exercise, only those in the highest intensity group also saw an improvement in glucose tolerance, a risk factor in heart disease.
So maybe we need to get out there and walk a little faster!
