"I really like the taste of these bars and it's hard to believe that they aren't chocolate bars. There is a nice blend of chocolate, chewy caramel and crisps that give it a good mouth feel". -Rowing Athlete
"I thought the taste of the bars was better than the traditional PowerBar but they are a little higher in fat than some other bars. I would eat them as a snack throughout the day as they have carbs, protein, fat and vitamins and minerals. I packed them in my bag during a day hike and they melted a bit with the warm weather." -Adventure Racing Athlete
The concept of the Triple Threat Bar is combining the nutritional value of an energy bar with the taste of a candy bar.
Interesting fact: Triple Threat was actually named by a PowerBar sponsored athlete. Max Caluson from the GS Ciao Cycling team in Boulder Colorado came up with the name. PowerBar often seeks athlete's feedback when developing new products.
