SportMed Practitioner Directory
Use the Find a Practitioner search tool to locate a practitioner by first name, last name, geographical region, profession or sport, or any combination of these categories. The Find a Clinic search tool allows you to search for practitioners by clinic name and geographical region. Practitioners working at these clinics who are eligible for an individual listing will be highlighted. Please note that these clinics may employ other practitioners, however, only those practitioners eligible to be listed in the SportMed Directory will appear.
Some Background:
The SportMed Directory lists qualified practitioners in seventeen different professions. Professions that have an official sport medicine designation, or maintain a special interest group for their members interested in working with athletes, are eligible to list qualified practitioners. Only those practitioners who meet the minimum qualifications and standards as set out by their respective professional organizations may be listed in the SportMed Directory of Practitioners.
The minimum standards required for listing are developed by EACH professional group, not by SportMedBC.
While SportMedBC does not endorse the individual practitioners listed, we work with the various professional Colleges and associations on an ongoing basis to ensure that the individuals listed possess the required qualifications and that they are represented accurately.
